On Wednesday, 18 March 2026, boostEDIC M&L was represented at Transport Ticketing Global 2026 in London, contributing to the discussion on how to enable seamless cross-border travel across Europe.
Mélanie Veissier, representing project partner EONA-X, took part in a session focused on the challenges of fragmented ticketing systems and the need for interoperable, digital solutions to support seamless passenger journeys. The discussion brought together key stakeholders from across the mobility ecosystem, highlighting both policy and industry perspectives.
Among the speakers were Søren Sørensen, Owner at SFMCON – Smart Ticketing Consulting; Yann Seimandi, Policy Officer at the European Commission; Thomas Clemens, Business Development Manager at Arriva Nederland; Brede Dammen, Product Owner, National Journey Planner and Mobility at Entur AS; and Dominik Elsmann, Head of Department for Cross-border Public Transport at Aachener Verkehrsverbund GmbH (AVV).
The session underlined the importance of interoperability, trusted data sharing and collaboration as key enablers to overcome existing barriers and improve cross-border mobility services.
These priorities are closely aligned with the objectives of boostEDIC M&L, which aims to support the development of the common European mobility data space and enable more integrated, user-centric transport solutions across Europe.
