A competitive, sustainable, and resilient European mobility and logistics ecosystem requires seamless data exchange. However, current barriers prevent businesses and people from leveraging the vast amounts of data generated every day. The European Union is working to change this. A common European mobility data space (EMDS) will create the conditions for secure access to, pooling of, and sharing of data.
The European Digital Infrastructure Consortium for Mobility and Logistics (EDIC M&L) shapes common standards and a sustainable digital infrastructure, building on the EMDS to drive innovation across the mobility and logistics ecosystem. Supported by the DIGITAL Europe-funded boostEDIC M&L project, it will accelerate the development of EDIC M&L and a sustainable digital infrastructure for cross-border data exchange among Member States, businesses, and public authorities.
